How to use
Sharks’ Cioppino Sauce
Most folks already know what cioppino is. For those who don’t, it’s a hearty marinara-based seafood stew. Originally concocted by Italian immigrants in San Francisco, it became a popular entree at many of the restaurants located on the famous Fishermens’ Wharf for many years.
We here at Sharks’ Seafood Bar & Steamer Co. have recreated that marvelous meal and because of much demand, we developed Sharks’ Cioppino Sauce. A welcome addition to any kitchen, this versatile product will surprise you with it’s many uses.
Made in small batches, we use premium ingredients and hand prepare our sauces. We hand select all our produce and add no preservatives. The result is a sauce that tastes and looks home- made.
While cioppino is typically made with a variety of seafood, we have discovered many great ways to use it. It’s so easy to make any Italian tomato-based meal better. Simply add your favorite fish or seafood, chicken or beef, vegetable or pasta or all the above. You can’t make a bad meal with this sauce. The possibilities are endless. You decide. You experiment.
Many recipes and variations can be made with Sharks”Cioppino Sauce including: Seafood cioppino, lasagna, cacciatore, marinara, pizza sauce, Mexican dishes etc. etc. etc. I like a sauce sandwich with parmesan on french bread. I also make a killer omlette with the sauce folded in with jack cheese.
